- 6.3MediumNov 6, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-123824The Symfony Config component XmlUtils::parse() enables DTD validation before rejecting documents that carry a doctype, allowing XML external entity (XXE) injection in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. A remote attacker who can supply XML to this method can determine whether local files exist, cause a denial of service, and, in some configurations, exfiltrate local file content via a crafted XML document whose doctype declares an
- 6.5MediumNov 6, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-122053The Symfony Serializer component ObjectNormalizer treats any attribute name containing . (and, from Symfony 6.4, [) as a writable property path, allowing untrusted input to modify properties of nested objects and bypass their #[Ignore] metadata attribute in Symfony versions 5.4.41 prior to 5.4.56, 6.4.9 prior to 6.4.50, 7.0.9 prior to 7.1.0, 7.1.2 prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. ObjectNormalizer::isAllowedAttribute() accepts such names, and setAttributeValue() hands the name straight t
- 8.4HighNov 6, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Path traversal / file handlingCVE-2026-118515The Symfony Serializer component DataUriNormalizer handles only the exact types SplFileInfo, SplFileObject, and File, so for a property typed with a subclass such as UploadedFile, ObjectNormalizer instantiates the object through its constructor from attacker-controlled data, including the file path. This allows an arbitrary file on the server to be treated as an uploaded file in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. A request body s
- 8.7HighNov 6, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Denial of serviceCVE-2026-123792The Symfony Yaml components Inline and Parser, parse some YAML documents inefficiently, so that a small crafted document can take disproportionately long to process, keeping a PHP process busy for seconds or minutes, potentially causing a denial of service in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. The parser repeats work it has already done in several places. An embedded mapping in a flow sequence is parsed again for every scalar app

- 2.3LowNov 6, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-123746The Symfony Security HTTP component AuthenticatorManager::authenticateUser() does not run the firewall user checker’s checkPostAuth() method when a user is authenticated programmatically, allowing an account rejected by a custom user checker, such as an expired account, to be authenticated in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. AuthenticatorManager::authenticateUser() is used by UserAuthenticatorInterface::authenticateUser() and
- 5.4MediumNov 5, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-121949The Symfony HtmlSanitizer component does not apply the media URL policy to the srcset and imagesrcset attributes, allowing values that point to hosts or schemes not permitted by allowMediaSchemes() or allowMediaHosts() to bypass it, so that browsers load images from disallowed hosts in Symfony versions 6.1.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11.The srcset attribute on img and source elements and the imagesrcset attribute on link elements are allowed by the sanitizer, but
- 4.3MediumNov 5, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-118517The Symfony HtmlSanitizer component UrlSanitizer parses URLs differently from browsers, allowing the allowLinkHosts() and allowMediaHosts() checks to be bypassed for URLs without a well-formed authority, resulting in untrusted hosts being referenced in sanitized output in Symfony versions 6.1.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. UrlSanitizer parses URLs with league/uri, which follows RFC 3986, while browsers follow the WHATWG URL standard. For URLs without a well-f
- 6.5MediumNov 5, 2026Sensiolabs symfony SSRFCVE-2026-123125The Symfony Validator component IpValidator incompletely classifies internal addresses in the filtered modes of the Ip constraint, so some internal addresses are accepted as public, which can lead to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. In these modes, IpValidator relies on the PHP flags FILTER_FLAG_NO_PRIV_RANGE and FILTER_FLAG_NO_RES_RANGE to classify addresses as public, private, or reserved
- 2.3LowNov 5, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-123119The Symfony HttpClient component NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient does not pin the checked IP address of cached hosts, allowing for DNS rebinding to bypass private network restrictions, resulting in enumeration of internal hosts and ports in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient resolves the host of each request and checks the IP before connecting. It caches the result per host, and passes the IP to the decorate
- 8.2HighNov 4, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Information disclosureCVE-2026-121971The component ScopingHttpClient in Symfony HttpClient merges the options of its default scope (such as auth_bearer or auth_basic) into a request before resolving a relative URL against the base_uri, allowing a network-path reference such as "//evil.example/steal" to be sent to another origin together with the default scope’s credentials, and resulting in potential disclosure of those credentials to an attacker-controlled server. This affects Symfony in versions 5.x prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to
- 5.3MediumNov 4, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-121373The Symfony HtmlSanitizer component MetaRefreshAttributeSanitizer, introduced to fix CVE-2026-48761, sanitizes the refresh URL of content attributes of meta tags using a regular expression that is too narrow, allowing sanitization to be bypassed, and resulting in potential URL redirection to untrusted sites in Symfony versions 6.1.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. The shared declarative refresh steps in the WHATWG HTML Standard require a broader approach: the s
- 6.3MediumNov 4, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-118516The Symfony Routing components CompiledUrlMatcher and UrlMatcher interpret the host and path information differently, allowing path-based authorization rules to be bypassed in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. For routes that define a host, CompiledUrlMatcher matches the string $host.'.'.$pathinfo against the host regular expression followed by the path regular expression, while UrlMatcher matches the host and the path separa
- 7.7HighNov 4, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-118513Authentication bypass by spoofing in X509Authenticator and X509AuthenticationListener of Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11 allows an attacker holding a certificate from the application's trusted CA who can influence the CN to authenticate as an arbitrary user of the application, including a privileged one, following an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-45063. X509Authenticator extracts the user identifier from the Subject DN (Distinguis

A run of whitespace placed before a separator could be divided among the iterations of the enclosing repetition in exponentially many ways, and the engine tried all of them before settling. `HeaderBag` calls it for the `Cache-Control` header whenever a `Request` is built, so any application handling HTTP requests is reachable, with no au
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-48784Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, UrlGenerator::doGenerate() used strtr() dot-segment encoding that skipped every other chained ../ or ./ segment, allowing attacker-controlled route parameters to generate URLs that collapse to a different path under RFC 3986 normalization. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13.
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony XSSCVE-2026-48761Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.1.0 until 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, UrlAttributeSanitizer::getSupportedAttributes() omitted URL-bearing attributes on <object>, <applet>, <iframe>, and <img>, and <meta http-equiv="refresh"> URLs inside content bypassed URL sanitization, allowing explicitly enabled elements or attributes to pass javascript: and similar payloads into sanitized output. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.41,
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-48760Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.1.0 until 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, UrlSanitizer::parse() rejected raw BiDi formatting characters but not percent-encoded forms and used an ASCII-only whitespace check, allowing sanitized URLs to retain visual-spoofing characters that downstream consumers could decode or display. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13.
- 5.3MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Crypto / certificateCVE-2026-48747Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 7.4.13 and 8.0.13, MailomatRequestParser::validateSignature() parsed X-MOM-Webhook-Signature as algo=signature and passed the request-selected algorithm to hash_hmac(), allowing a signature algorithm downgrade instead of enforcing Mailomat's documented SHA-256 webhook signature. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.13 and 8.0.13.
- 8.6HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-48736Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 5.4.0 to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient and IpUtils::PRIVATE_SUBNETS omitted IPv6 transition prefixes such as 6to4, NAT64, Teredo, and IPv4-compatible IPv6, allowing attacker-supplied URLs to represent private IPv4 targets in forms that IpUtils::isPrivateIp() did not block. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13.
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-48489Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, DefaultAuthenticationFailureHandler honored the request-supplied _failure_path parameter when failure_forward: true was enabled, allowing an unauthenticated failing login request to dispatch a subrequest to access_control-protected GET routes that skipped firewall listeners. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13.
- 5.3MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-47212Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, TwilioRequestParser::doParse() received the configured webhook secret but ignored the X-Twilio-Signature HMAC header, allowing unauthenticated POST requests to inject forged Twilio status payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-45071Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Crawler::addXmlContent() set DOMDocument::$validateOnParse = true before loadXML(), re-enabling external entity resolution and allowing attacker-supplied XML to expand file:// entities such as local files. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Code / command injectionCVE-2026-45068Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, SendmailTransport in -t mode appended recipient addresses to the sendmail command line without a -- end-of-options separator, allowing an address beginning with - to be interpreted as a sendmail command-line option instead of an address. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 9.8CriticalJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-47767Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 5.4.46 until 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, the CVE-2024-50340 fix gated runtime argv parsing on empty($_GET), but parse_str() and the web SAPI can disagree, allowing a crafted query string to leave $_GET empty while $_SERVER['argv'] still carries attacker-controlled --env or --no-debug flags that change APP_ENV or APP_DEBUG. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.
- 5.3MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-45755Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 7.4.12 and 8.0.12, MailtrapRequestParser::doParse() received the configured webhook secret but ignored the X-Mt-Signature HMAC header, allowing unauthenticated POST requests to inject forged Mailtrap delivery, bounce, open, click, or spam events. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.12 and 8.0.12.
- 5.3MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-45754Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, the Mailjet mailer bridge and LOX24 notifier bridge webhook parsers received configured webhook secrets but did not verify them, allowing unauthenticated POST requests to inject forged Mailjet and LOX24 event payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony XSSCVE-2026-45753Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.1.0-BETA1 until 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, UrlAttributeSanitizer::getSupportedAttributes() omits URL-valued attributes including action, formaction, poster, and cite, so configurations that admit those attributes can leave javascript: URIs unsanitized and enable XSS when the resulting HTML is rendered or a victim submits a form or clicks a button. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Denial of serviceCVE-2026-45305Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Symfony\Component\Yaml\Parser::cleanup() used regular expressions with overlapping quantifiers for YAML directive, comment, and document marker cleanup, allowing crafted input to make parsing hang for an arbitrarily long time. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-45304Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Symfony\Component\Yaml\Parser resolved YAML collection aliases recursively, allowing a small untrusted YAML input to expand into a multi-gigabyte structure and exhaust memory. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Denial of serviceCVE-2026-45133Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, when the parser is exposed to attacker-controlled input, deeply nested mappings or sequences cause both the block-level (Parser::parseBlock()) and inline (Inline::parseSequence() / Inline::parseMapping()) parsers to recurse without a depth limit. A crafted document exhausts the PHP stack and crashes the worker. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.
- 8.2HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-45075Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 7.4.12 and 8.0.12, method-scoped #[IsGranted], #[IsSignatureValid], and #[IsCsrfTokenValid] attributes can be configured for GET only, but Symfony routes HEAD requests to the GET handler while the attribute check is skipped, allowing protected controllers to execute and leak headers or perform side effects. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.12 and 8.0.12.
- 7.3HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony SQL injectionCVE-2026-45073Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, PdoAdapter::doClear() builds a DELETE statement using a namespace derived from the caller-supplied $prefix without binding or escaping it, allowing a caller able to influence $prefix to break out of the LIKE literal and alter query semantics or deletion scope. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 5.4MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony XSSCVE-2026-45072Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.4.24 until 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, the development profiler file_excerpt Twig filter escapes PHP files through highlight_string() but interpolates lines from non-PHP files directly into <code> elements, allowing stored XSS against a developer who opens an attacker-written file such as var/log/dev.log in the profiler. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 6.5MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-45070Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Symfony\Component\Mime\Header\ParameterizedHeader validates and encodes parameter values but emits parameter names verbatim, allowing a caller that derives a parameter name from untrusted input to include CRLF or other non-token bytes and inject additional headers into rendered structured mail headers such as Content-Type or Content-Disposition. This issu
- 9.1CriticalJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-45069Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, OidcTokenHandler::verifyClaims() registered audience (aud), issuer (iss), and expiry (exp) checkers but did not pass the mandatory claims list to ClaimCheckerManager::check(), so a validly signed JWT that omitted those claims could pass verification. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-45064Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.1.0-BETA1 until 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, UrlSanitizer::parse() passes Unicode explicit-direction BiDi formatting characters through into sanitized href and src attributes, allowing sanitized content to display a link destination that visually differs from the actual destination and enabling phishing-style visual spoofing. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 9.1CriticalJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-45063Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, X509Authenticator extracts the user identifier from $_SERVER['SSL_CLIENT_S_DN'] with an unanchored regex that matches emailAddress= anywhere in the distinguished name, allowing an attacker with a trusted certificate containing emailAddress=victim inside another RDN value such as CN to authenticate as the victim. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4
- 7.5HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Denial of serviceCVE-2026-45756Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 7.3.0-BETA1 until 7.4.12 and 8.0.12, the JsonPath component compiles attacker-controlled match() and search() filter patterns directly into preg_match() without a length cap, i-regexp restriction, or bounded backtracking, allowing catastrophic-backtracking expressions to pin worker CPU and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.12 and 8.0.12.
- 8.6HighJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfony DeserializationCVE-2026-45077Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, the server:log listener (Symfony\Bridge\Monolog\Command\ServerLogCommand) binds to 0.0.0.0:9911 by default and processes each received frame with unserialize(base64_decode($message)) without authentication, integrity checks, or an allowed_classes allowlist, allowing any reachable host to submit attacker-chosen serialized PHP payloads that can crash the li

From 7.1.0 until 7.4.12 and 8.0.12, Cas2Handler builds the CAS service parameter from Request::getSchemeAndHttpHost(), which reflects an attacker-controlled Host header when framework.trusted_hosts is not configured; an attacker controlling another application registered with the same CAS server can replay a victim ticket against the Symfony application and authenticate as the victim. This issue is
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-45066Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.1.0-BETA1 until 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, HtmlSanitizer URL sanitization can allow off-allowlist URLs through allowLinkHosts() or allowMediaHosts() because UrlSanitizer::parse() follows RFC 3986 while browsers follow WHATWG URL parsing, and because <area href> is checked against the media policy rather than the link policy. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
- 6.1MediumJul 14, 2026Sensiolabs symfonyCVE-2026-45065Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, UrlGenerator validates route parameters against a pattern built as ^ plus the raw requirement plus $; with ungrouped alternations, middle alternatives match as unanchored substrings, allowing a value such as //evil.com to satisfy a common locale requirement and generate a protocol-relative off-site URL. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.
- 6.3MediumJan 28, 2026Sensiolabs symfony Code / command injectionCVE-2026-24739Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to versions 5.4.51, 6.4.33, 7.3.11, 7.4.5, and 8.0.5, the Symfony Process component did not correctly treat some characters (notably `=`) as “special” when escaping arguments on Windows. When PHP is executed from an MSYS2-based environment (e.g. Git Bash) and Symfony Process spawns native Windows executables, MSYS2’s argument/path conversion can mis-handle unquoted arguments containing these c
