- 5.9MediumOct 29, 2026Gofiber fiber Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-119285Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. From 2.52.1 until 2.52.3, the CORS middleware's validateDomain wildcard matcher in middleware/cors/utils.go strips the scheme and checks only a host suffix without requiring a dot boundary. An application configured with a wildcard-subdomain AllowOrigins value and AllowCredentials enabled can reflect an unrelated attacker-controlled origin whose host merely ends with the configured base domain. A user who visits that origin can expose aut
- 4.8MediumJul 8, 2026Gofiber fiber Information disclosureCVE-2026-53624Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. Prior to 3.4.0, the helmet middleware in middleware/helmet/helmet.go never sets the Strict-Transport-Security response header even when HSTSMaxAge is configured because it checks c.Protocol() for https instead of c.Scheme(). This issue is fixed in version 3.4.0.
- 5.3MediumJul 8, 2026Gofiber fiber Auth bypass / access controlCVE-2026-45045Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. Prior to 3.3.0 and 2.52.14, the BalancerForward proxy helper in middleware/proxy/proxy.go uses Header.Add() instead of Header.Set() when injecting X-Real-IP, allowing an attacker-supplied first X-Real-IP value to be forwarded to upstream servers for logging, rate limiting, and access control. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0 and 2.52.14.
- 5.3MediumJul 8, 2026Gofiber fiber Information disclosureCVE-2026-44332Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. Prior to 3.3.0, the default Authorizer function in the BasicAuth middleware in middleware/basicauth/config.go uses short-circuit evaluation that skips password hash comparison for non-existent usernames, enabling reliable remote username enumeration through response timing differences. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.
- 6.1MediumMay 11, 2026Gofiber fiber XSSCVE-2026-42554Fiber is a web framework for Go. Prior to 2.52.12 and 3.1.0, Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in Go Fiber allows a remote attacker to inject arbitrary HTML/JavaScript by supplying Accept: text/html on any request whose handler passes attacker-influenced data to the AutoFormat() feature. The developer opts into content negotiation by calling AutoFormat(), but does not opt into raw HTML emission for a particular request; Fiber chooses that branch from attacker-controlled Accept. The html branch
- 6.5MediumMay 5, 2026Gofiber fiberCVE-2026-30246Fiber is a web framework for Go. In github.com/gofiber/fiber/v3 versions through 3.1.0, the default key generator in the cache middleware uses only the request path and does not include the query string. As a result, requests for the same path with different query parameters can share a cache key and receive the wrong cached response. This can cause response mix-up for query-dependent endpoints and may expose data intended for a different request. This issue is fixed after version 3.1.0.
- 7.5HighFeb 24, 2026Gofiber fiber Denial of serviceCVE-2026-25899Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. In versions on the v3 branch prior to 3.1.0, the use of the `fiber_flash` cookie can force an unbounded allocation on any server. A crafted 10-character cookie value triggers an attempt to allocate up to 85GB of memory via unvalidated msgpack deserialization. No authentication is required. Every GoFiber v3 endpoint is affected regardless of whether the application uses flash messages. Version 3.1.0 fixes the issue.
- 7.5HighFeb 24, 2026Gofiber fiber Path traversal / file handlingCVE-2026-25891Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. A Path Traversal (CWE-22) vulnerability in Fiber allows a remote attacker to bypass the static middleware sanitizer and read arbitrary files on the server file system on Windows. This affects Fiber v3 through version 3.0.0. This has been patched in Fiber v3 version 3.1.0.
- 7.5HighFeb 24, 2026Gofiber fiber Denial of serviceCVE-2026-25882Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. A denial of service vulnerability exists in Fiber v2 and v3 that allows remote attackers to crash the application by sending requests to routes with more than 30 parameters. The vulnerability results from missing validation during route registration combined with an unbounded array write during request matching. Version 2.52.12 patches the issue in the v2 branch and 3.1.0 patches the issue in the v3 branch.
- 9.4CriticalFeb 9, 2026Gofiber fiber Crypto / certificateCVE-2025-66630Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. Before 2.52.11, on Go versions prior to 1.24, the underlying crypto/rand implementation can return an error if secure randomness cannot be obtained. Because no error is returned by the Fiber v2 UUID functions, application code may unknowingly rely on predictable, repeated, or low-entropy identifiers in security-critical pathways. This is especially impactful because many Fiber v2 middleware components (session middleware, CSRF, rate limit
- 9.8CriticalDec 9, 2025Gofiber utils Crypto / certificateCVE-2025-66565Fiber Utils is a collection of common functions created for Fiber. In versions 2.0.0-rc.3 and below, when the system's cryptographic random number generator (crypto/rand) fails, both functions silently fall back to returning predictable UUID values, including the zero UUID "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000". The vulnerability occurs through two related but distinct failure paths, both ultimately caused by crypto/rand.Read() failures, compromising the security of all Fiber applications using
